What personal data does KhanePe collect?

Through the Inquire form, KhanePe collects your name, phone number, optional email and company, and your event details: date, guests, area, venue type, food preferences and notes. Through the Partner form, it collects business and contact details of catering vendors, including FSSAI numbers. The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

• Customer inquiries: name, phone, email (optional), company (optional), event and food details.
• Vendor applications: brand, contact person, phone, email, FSSAI number, kitchen location, capacity, cuisines and certifications.
• Hosting logs: the site is served by Vercel, whose systems process basic request data such as IP address to deliver and secure it.

How does KhanePe use and share it?

KhanePe uses inquiry details to call you, prepare a brief and obtain quotations. Event requirements are shared with pre-vetted vendors so they can quote; your contact details are shared with the vendor you confirm so they can deliver. Form submissions are delivered to the team by email and may be logged in a spreadsheet.

How long is data kept?

Inquiry and order details are kept for as long as needed to arrange your catering, issue invoices and meet accounting and tax obligations, and then deleted or anonymised. Vendor application details are kept while the vendor is in the network or the application is under review.

What are your rights?

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data KhanePe holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, withdraw consent and raise a grievance. To make a request, contact KhanePe using the details on the contact page.
